Water resource plan
The then Minister for Natural Resources and Water released the Water Resource (Mitchell) Plan 2007 in November 2007. In finalising the plan, the minister considered all properly-made submissions about the draft plan. Explanatory notes for the Mitchell Water Resource Plan (PDF)* are also available.
Resource operations plan
The Mitchell Resource Operations Plan (PDF, 787K)* was finalised in November 2009 after an extensive community consultation and review process following the release of the draft plan in October 2008.
Explanatory notes (PDF, 299K)* accompany the plan.
Community consultation
A consultation report (PDF, 317K)*, released on 27 November 2009, summarises the issues raised during the consultation process and how they have been dealt with in finalising the resource operations plan.
