Draft resource operations plan
The Mitchell draft Resource Operations Plan (PDF, 504K)* was released on 24 October 2008 for public comment—submissions have now closed. A summary (PDF, 434K)* accompanies the draft plan.
Water resource plan
The Minister for Natural Resources and Water released the Water Resource (Mitchell) Plan 2007 (listed as item 269) in November 2007. In finalising the plan, the minister considered all properly-made submissions about the draft plan. To read the supporting explanatory notes, click the icon next to the plan in item 269.
Community consultation
The Mitchell Water Resource Plan consultation Report (PDF, 382K)* summarises the issues raised during the consultation process and how they have been dealt with in finalising the water resource plan.
