Cooper Creek catchment water resource plan review and replacement
On 11 July 2008, the Minister for Natural Resources and Water announced his intention to prepare a Cooper Creek draft Water Resource Plan and released an information report (PDF, 670K)* . This water resource plan will replace the Water Resource (Cooper Creek) Plan 2000 (PDF)*. Water resource plans are reviewed and replaced prior to the end of a plan's 10 year life.
Submissions about the development of the draft water resource plan and nominations for the community reference panel closed on 3 October 2008.
