Water resource plan
The Water Resource (Burdekin Basin) Plan 2007 was approved on 2 August 2007. In finalising the plan, the Minister considered all properly made submissions about the draft plan. Explanatory notes (PDF)* accompany the plan.
Resource operations plan
The Burdekin Basin Resource Operations Plan (PDF, 1.5M)* was finalised in December 2009 after an extensive community consultation and review process following the release of the draft plan in October 2008. On 1 October 2010, tables 21 and 22 that apply to the Bowen Broken Water Supply Scheme were replaced to correct typographical errors in the original document.
Explanatory notes (PDF, 223K)* accompany the plan.
Community consultation
A consultation report (PDF, 242K)* released in December 2009, summarises the issues raised during the consultation process and how they have been dealt with in finalising the resource operations plan.
