State Planning Policy 2/10: Koala Conservation in South East Queensland (SPP) koala habitat maps by lot and plan or street
This form enables you to select an area of interest and obtain a map showing koala habitat within the koala protection area defined under the SPP. The maps are available as Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) and can be sent to your email address.
The information you enter to obtain a map is only used to process your request. Map requests, including the information you enter are logged for quality assurance and product enhancement purposes only.
The maps show:
- koala habitat
- the property boundary
- roads.
The maps are:
- produced at various map scales
- A3 landscape, and should be printed at this size
- not statutory; further information on requirements and habitat values should be sought from the relevant local government authority or DERM.
Create a map by entering a lot plan number
- Only one lot plan number can be entered for each map.
- The lot plan number needs to be entered without spaces (e.g. Plan number: CP108611).
- If you need a map showing a number of different properties, use the 'create a map by entering a street' option.
- If the lot plan number is invalid you will receive an email advising that the request for a map has failed.
OR
Create a map by a street name and locality
- Only one street name (including road, culvert, court, avenue, lane etc) can be entered for each map.
- Some street names may not be recognised in the cadastral layer, particularly if they have only been built recently. If this occurs, you will receive an email advising that the request for a map has failed. It is advisable to try again by using the name of an alternative nearby street or main road.
Technical issues
- The average file size is 300 kilobytes.
