Environment and Resource Management

Environmental education

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) rangers at Daisy Hill Forest Reserve can offer teachers and students assistance with environmental education needs. The range of exciting new programs have a strong focus on nature conservation and a flexible approach to experiential learning.

Curriculum-based environmental education programs have been developed to help teachers of students, from pre-school through to Year 12.

Guided walks and talks, multimedia presentations, puppet shows, and dip-netting are some of the educational and entertaining experiences available.

If you'd like to know more or are interested in making a booking, contact the park between 8am and 4pm weekdays and talk to a Public Contact Ranger.
