Permits
You must have a permit or licence from the QPWS to care for sick, injured or orphaned animals. It is also advisable to register as a carer with a local wildlife care organisation. For details about your legislative requirements, contact your local QPWS office. The QPWS has developed a code of practice to help you care for animals.
