Research priorities

The results from 'Back on Track species prioritisation framework' are being used to focus work priorities on those species whose threats are known and can be mitigated. Species identified as 'data deficient' during species assessment workshops determine priorities for research. These species were considered to be too poorly known to receive scores for all seven 'Back on Track' criteria.
Some of the 'data deficient' species identified during 'Back on Track' species assessment workshops include:
- 'Back on Track species prioritisation framework' Queensland data deficient animals
- 'Back on Track species prioritisation framework' Queensland data deficient plants
