Water is Special
Children interact with water every day and it is a great source of play and enjoyment. The Early Years are an ideal opportunity for children to build on and extend their understanding of water, how they use it and ways to use it wisely.
The Preparatory Year (Prep unit) resource introduces the character of Whizzy the waterdrop as a friend with whom the children interact as they undertake their water journey. The unit provides teaching and learning opportunities for Prep children to engage with and investigate water and water conservation.
