Environment and Resource Management

Water Cycle poster

The Water Cycle poster (PDF, 2.2M)* is a new water education resource that illustrates key concepts needed to understand the sustainable use of water. Depicting the water cycle in the natural environment, the poster complements resources available to Queensland councils and schools through the Water: Learn it for life! program and the Bucket Loads of Savings package.

Whizzy the waterdrop features in the poster, which primarily targets children between 4 and 8 years of age. The poster can, however, also be used with older audiences to explain water cycle concepts.

The Water Cycle poster can be used by water educators or teachers to stimulate enquiry in a classroom setting. It can also be used by councils for community education.

How to access the resources

Queensland councils and schools can order the Water Cycle poster (A1, 841 mm by 594 mm) by completing an online order form.
