Resource operations licences
A resource operations licence (ROL), which is granted under s. 108 of the Water Act 2000 in accordance with a resource operations plan includes:
- details of the licence holder
- the resource operations plan to which the licence relates
- the water infrastructure, such as dams and weirs, covered by the licence
- any conditions that the holder of the licence must comply with, including operating arrangements and water supply requirements.
To download a ROL, choose a licence name from the table below.
Standard supply contracts
A standard supply contract provides details of the ROL holder's arrangements for the storage and delivery of water under water allocations.
The chief executive may approve a standard supply contract for an area, and such approval must be gazetted.
The standard supply contract applies on the day a water allocation is granted, unless the allocation holder and the ROL holder have a supply contract for the allocation (this does not apply where the ROL holder, or a subsidiary company of the ROL holder is the holder of the allocation).
To download a standard supply contract for an area, choose the relevant standard supply contract name in the table below.
