The Queensland waterways monitoring portal provides a common statewide single-point of access to waterway information.

Queensland Waterway Monitoring Programs

Information on Queensland water quality, water quantity and aquatic ecosystem health monitoring programs is available through the links below. The list of programs documented will be expanded as more information is made available and new programs developed.

1. Click the above link
2. Click 'Accept'
3. Click 'Layers'
4. Click 'Add'
5. Tick the 'Aquatic Monitoring Programs' box, then click 'Done'
6. Click 'Layers'
7. Click the the 'Aquatic Monitoring Programs' box, the layer will become visible
8. Click 'Identify' then click on a drainage basin on the map, wait while it loads and a box will appear
9. Click on the 'Aquatic Monitoring Programs' title in the box to view the list of programs
10. To access a program information sheet click the +, and in 'About' click 'Here'.  
Note: Some older machines and early versions of Internet Explorer may experience difficulties in using the map.  

If you are part of an aquatic monitoring program in Queensland, please register your program by emailing the portal team.
