SLATS land cover change reports
The Land cover change in Queensland 2006-07 report (PDF, 2.1M)* provides clearing rates for 2006–07.
Clearing has dropped by 37 per cent, down from 375 000 ha/year in 2005–06, to 235 000 ha/year in 2006–07.
The report also shows greenhouse gas emissions are down from 41.24 to 31.55 megatonnes.
