National recovery plan for the Greater Bilby Macrotis lagotis / prepared by Northern Territory Department of Natural Resources, Environment and the Arts
The greater bilby Macrotis lagotis is listed as Vulnerable under the <em>Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999</em>. The current recovery plan builds on conservation actions that have already commenced including protection and management of bilby habitat, applied research on wild populations and their predators, reintroduction within former range, and coordinated management of captive individuals.
