A strategy for improving air quality in South-East Queensland

South-east Queensland has a history of relatively low air pollution levels due to its small industrial base and comparatively low population. The region’s topography, amount of sunshine and prevailing wind patterns are such, however, that there exists a high potential for pollution. The strategy focuses on issues of air pollution relevant to south-east Queensland and therefore recommended actions relate only to this area.
