Queensland turtle conservation project: Raine Island turtle study, 2004-2005

Four of the principal green turtle, <em>Chelonia mydas</em>, nesting sites for the northern Great Barrier Reef (GBR) stock (Raine Island, Moulter Cay, No.7 Sandbank and No.8 Sandbank) were surveyed in the 2004-2005 breeding season. Nesting success was extremely low and has been declining over the past 24 years.
