People and contact details

The Queensland Land Use Mapping project (QLUMP) team includes departmental staff from offices in Brisbane and Mareeba.

The Brisbane team

The Brisbane team operates as part of the Remote Sensing Centre. Christian (team leader), Robert and Deanna have been involved in the coordination of QLUMP from its onset in early 1999. They, along with other invaluable staff employed over this period, have developed the current mapping and change methodology, and have been involved in all aspects of mapping. Simone is currently mapping land use change for selected reef catchments. Tony provides essential programming support.

The Mareeba team

Georgie, Seonaid and Lisa are part of the Mareeba Spatial Products and Analysis Unit in the North Region. Georgie has been involved in the 1999 mapping of the northern coastal and western Queensland catchments, and is currently involved in land use change mapping for these areas. Seonaid has been a key contributor to the collaborative University of Queensland and Australian Banana Growers' Council banana mapping project. Lisa is the ever-supportive Mareeba team leader.
