Departmental officers do not provide legal advice (e.g. whether to record the transferees of a property as joint tenants or tenants in common, or the meaning of a particular clause in a deceased person’s will). Such questions require legal consideration, for which you should consult a legal practitioner.
The Titles Registry statewide customer enquiries service provides information about:
- identifying the appropriate forms
- clarifying requirements for a transaction
- regulated fees for lodging particular transactions
- estimated processing times
