Land titles
The titles registry provides accurate, secure and readily accessible registers for recording ownership and other interests and transactions relating to freehold land, State-owned land and water allocations in Queensland.
The State’s land and water registries include:
- freehold land register
- leasehold land register
- register of unallocated State Land
- power of attorney register
- register of reserves and trustees of trust land (reserves and deeds of grant in trust)
- register of licences and permits
- register of State housing leases
- register of foreign ownership of land
- register of vested land (for example Queensland Rail land, Port Authority land, Industrial land, SunWater land)
- register of national parks
- register of State forests
- register of timber reserves, forestry reserves and resource reserves
- register of water allocations
- register of plantation licences
- register of Commonwealth land
- register under part 18 of the Property Law Act 1974
