Land titles
The Titles Registry provides accurate, secure and readily accessible registers for recording ownership and other interests and transactions relating to freehold land, State tenure land and water allocations in Queensland.
The State's land and water registers include:
- freehold land register
- leasehold land register
- register of unallocated State Land
- power of attorney register
- register of reserves and trustees of trust land (i.e. reserves and deeds of grant in trust)
- register of licences and permits
- register of State housing leases
- register of foreign ownership of land
- register under part 18 of the Property Law Act 1974
- register of Harbour Board leases
- register of Water Allocations.
These registers are maintained by the Registrar of Titles and Registrar of Water Allocations
