Products and services
The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) offers a range of products and services to assist Queensland surveyors. These include:
- SmartMap products such as mapping products for property, purchasing and surveying themes; reports on survey control data and survey plan records
- copies of original survey field records - available from business centres
- astronomical information about the sun, stars, moon and planets — available from business centres
- certified statements and court certificates relating to the position of the sun and moon are also available from business centres
- a register of lot/plan references that can assist organisations to validate their computer records is available from CISP Administration.
