Products and services
The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) offers a range of products and services to assist Queensland surveyors. These include:
- SmartMap products such as mapping products for property, purchasing and surveying themes; reports on survey control data and survey plan records
- copies of original survey field records
- astronomical information about the sun, stars, moon and planets—available from business centres
- certified statements and court certificates relating to the position of the sun and moon are also available from business centres
- a register of lot/plan references that can assist organisations to validate their computer records is available from CISP Administration.
Surveying Alerts
The Surveying Alert is an electronic update alerting customers to recent legislative or policy changes and other developments relevant to surveyors.
