Background
The current boundaries of Paddington and Red Hill were defined in 1975. These boundaries were not aligned with property boundaries and the property addressing based on these boundaries may be ambiguous.
The review of these boundaries is part of a major project to realign all Brisbane City suburb boundaries with property boundaries or the centre lines of roads to ensure that property addressing clearly reflects current communities of interest.
The new boundaries change the address of properties in Upper and Lower Cairns Terrace from Red Hill to Paddington.
