Background

In March 2008, a submission was made to include the Bald Hill estates of Carseldine Chase and Regents Green Carseldine into the suburb of Carseldine.

Although the Regents Green Carseldine Estate and the Carseldine Chase Estate are currently part of Bald Hills, they are separated from the rest of Bald Hills by major arterial roads to the north and west.

The proposed boundary alteration supports the inclusion of this area in Carseldine and ensures that like communities are not separated by suburb boundaries.
