Sunmap Raster
You can view Queensland’s 1:25 000 scale topographic line maps using Sunmap Raster Mapsheets and Mosaic.
Each easy-to-use CD pack, complete with viewing software, contains more than 400 compressed, geo-referenced images of the land, its natural features, rivers, roads, tracks and constructions.

Sunmap Raster is available as:
- topographic mapsheets—digital images of hard copy line map products. Each map is viewed as a separate image
- topographic mosaic—three seamless images created by joining content from individual mapsheets. This product is ideal for interfacing with GPS software but not for measuring distances or areas.

- Export maps straight from CD to global positioning systems (GPS) or geographic information systems (GIS).
- Use handy distance-measuring tools.
- Select pop-up windows for legends and climate graphs.
- Access grid and geographic coordinates.
- Print entire map or custom view.
- View maps on Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, Me or NT4.
- Export maps into JPEG, BMP, PNG, TIFF AND GeoTIFFimage formats.
Related products
Sunmap Raster is fully compatible with NATMAP Raster products which cover the whole of Australia at 1:250 000 scale. This compatibility means that you can view both Sunmap and NATMAP topographic line maps with the same viewer.
