The Department maintains a library of approximately 2 million aerial photographs covering Queensland at various scales and dates.
This imagery is available for purchase through the departments business centres. Products available include: -
- photographic quality prints of a whole frame (228 x 228mm)
- enlargements of a whole or part frame (up to 900 x 1200mm)
- digital image files of a whole frame in jpeg or tiff format (up to 1693dpi)
- historical aerial photography compilations (400dpi jpeg format) covering selected 1:100,000 map sheet areas

The latest Aerial Photography in each 1:100,000 map area is shown on the Queensland Aerial Photography Index Map (PDF, 581K)*.
