Administrative maps
The department produces maps to satisfy the administrative requirements of government agencies where areas or boundaries need to be defined for a particular purpose (e.g. state electoral districts or local government areas).
Purpose-built administrative maps can also be produced by combining spatial data sets (e.g. cadastral, topographic, and thematic data) and other administrative boundary information.
These map products can be supplied as either a printed copy or as digital data.

Local government boundary changes
Local Government Boundary reform maps showing the new local government areas that came into effect in March 2008 are now available from business centres.
