Safety Message - trail walkers
This alert is valid from 1 November 2009 to 7 December 2009 (inclusive) and it applies to the following parks:
Due to current dry conditions on the trail, walkers are advised to carry adequate drinking water. The weather is hot and humid and water is becoming scarce on the northern section of the trail. The only reliable water sources may be Zoe Falls, Diamantina Creek and Mulligan Falls. For further information contact the QPWS in Cardwell on telephone 40668779.
