Woondum National Park
What's special
Subtropical rainforest, tall wet sclerophyll forest and spectacular rocky creeks make Woondum National Park a popular spot for locals and visitors. Here, Woondum and Boulder Creeks join together in a series of picturesque rockpools.
Exploring Woondum
Have a picnic by the creek. Relax and unwind to the sound of water gently cascading over ancient granite outcrops. Picnic tables, barbecues, firewood, water and toilets are provided at the Rock Pools day-use area. Please do not feed the lace monitors. Let them find their own food and keep wildlife wild.
Explore around the creek or go for a short walk through the cool, moist forest. Be careful around the rock pools—never jump or dive into the water and supervise children closely.
Camping is not allowed in the forest. You can camp at Amamoor or Brooyar State Forests near Gympie.
