Tolderodden Conservation Park

What's special

This small park beside the Burnett River was once a camping and water reserve. Today, visitors can enjoy a brief stopover here.

Open eucalypt forest with Moreton Bay ash and blue gum trees and a grassy understorey grows in the park. Tall blue gums line the steep banks of the Burnett River and basalt outcrops dot the park.

The park is mantained by North Burnett Regional Council. Historic Eidsvold Station is nearby.

Exploring Tolderodden

Camp or picnic under the Moreton Bay ash trees on the banks of the Burnett River. The camping area offers shady, grassy campsites in a eucalypt forest setting. Pit toilets, picnic tables, rubbish bins, tank water (treat before drinking) and wood barbecues are provided. Bring your own manufactured fuel or clean, milled firewood. The camping and picnic area is solar-lit at night.

Camping permits are required and fees apply. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site.

Walking

A 700 m track leads from the camping area up a ridge for a view over the park.

Getting there

The park is on the Cracow Road just 4.5 km west of Eidsvold.
