What's special

Dense mulga scrub typical of Queensland’s Mulga Lands bioregion grows in this park. The park also protects flat spinifex sandplains, dry eucalypt woodlands and relics of the former sheep grazing era.

Exploring Thrushton

Enjoy nature in this undeveloped park. Go birdwatching. Bush camp in the park. Visitors must be self-sufficient. Take drinking water and a fuel stove for cooking.

Getting there

Thrushton is 40km north-east of Bollon and accessible only in dry weather. Four-wheel-drive is recommended.
