The Settlement camping area is the only camping area in Springbrook National Park. It allows tent camping beside your car in well-defined sites. Space for camper trailers and campervans is available.

As this is a newly established camping area, please be aware that the vegetation does not yet provide shade or screening from the road. Native shrubs and trees have been planted and these will soon provide screening and shade.

Location

The Settlement camping area is on Carricks Road, Springbrook National Park. It is linked by a short walking track to the top of Purling Brook Falls. This walking track links up to the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk.

Getting there: The Settlement camping area is on Springbrook plateau. Travelling up from the Gold Coast, turn left off the Springbrook Road at the Springbrook Public Hall into Carricks Road and follow the signs. The campground is on the right.
