What's special
The parks of Central West Queensland protect a variety of ecosystems and unspoilt scenery including wetlands, floodplains and channel country, rocky and tree-covered scarp, spinifex-clad sand dunes, Mitchell grass downs, coolibah woodlands, mesas and plateaus. Historical and cultural sites add to the distinctive appeal of these parks.
