Jourama Falls camping area, in Paluma Range National Park, is located in a large clearing beyond the second causeway.
Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your campsite.
Park-specific conditions
Access may be restricted during the summer wet season when creeks rise and causeways are impassable. Occasionally, in the dry season, the park will be closed because of fires.
A 'look but don't touch' approach should be taken with all animals.

Campground features: located beside Waterview Creek, this camping area is a popular swimming and picnic spot and a good place for birdwatching.
Location: the camping area is about 300 m from the park entrance, beyond the second causeway.
Access: the camping area can be reached by conventional vehicles. It is accessible to trailers, caravans and buses.
Number of sites: open area without separately defined sites.
Campsites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car, caravans, camper trailers, motor homes and large groups.
Campsite surface: grass.
Facilities: water (treat all water before drinking), composting toilets, cold showers, picnic tables and gas barbecues.
Open fires: prohibited.
Generators: not allowed.

Bookings: book online, over-the-counter, or by phone. Advance bookings are advisable, especially during school holidays, when the campground is extremely popular.
Mobile phone coverage: poor, until you get back to the highway, 4.5 km from the park.
