There are 3 walkers’ camp sites, each have toilets. Water is only available at the Green Mountains and The Settlement camping areas, which are also close to cafés or local shops for supplies.

There are no QPWS walkers’ camps at Binna Burra in Lamington National Park. Please call the privately-owned Binna Burra Mountain Lodge campground on (07) 5533 3622 to book a camp site.

You can stay at each camp site for a maximum of two consecutive nights and your group should have no more than eight people.

Camping permits are required and fees apply. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site.

Park-specific conditions

The Green Mountains camping area is located within rainforest regrowth and can be damp and cold, especially in winter.

The Settlement camping area (constructed in 2005) does not provide a lot of shade during summer or screening from the road. Read more about walking safely and walking softly.
