Cliff Thompson Memorial Scholarship
The Cliff Thompson Memorial Scholarship supports scientific research and honours soil scientist Cliff Thompson's contribution to the Fraser Island World Heritage Area.
The scholarship provides $10,000 to research higher degree (masters or PhD) candidates, conducting research related to the Fraser Island World Heritage Area. The scholarship will help encourage and support further scientific research that adds value and contributes to improved management of the Fraser Island World Heritage Area.
Applications for the inaugural Cliff Thompson Memorial Scholarship closed on 31 May 2007. Applications for the next scholarship will be called for in early 2008.
