Cliff Thompson Memorial Scholarship
Applications for the Cliff Thompson Memorial Scholarship are being sought from research higher degree (Masters or PhD) candidates, conducting research related to the Fraser Island World Heritage Area.
Successful applicants will be awarded $10,000 to support their research, with the funds allocated over one to five years duration.
Applicants must have already been accepted for a research higher degree program at their university.
Applicants will be required to submit a research proposal outlining:
- An introduction to the research project, including a clear problem definition;
- A rationale for the research, including the relevance of research to the Fraser Island World Heritage Area;
- A research design, including methodology and planned methods;
- A demonstration of the ability of the applicant to undertake the research; and
- A detailed budget and timeline for expenditure of the scholarship funds, including milestones for progress reporting.
