The Aboriginal Traditional Owners, the Yiithuwarra or 'saltwater people' of the Flinders Group islands, welcome visitors to their country and ask that they respect this very special place.
Location
340 km north of Cairns, adjacent to Princess Charlotte Bay on the eastern Cape York Peninsula
What's special
These ruggedly attractive and remote islands share their geology with the spectacular Cape Melville on the mainland, and contain some of Australia's most significant Aboriginal cultural sites.
