Location
132 km north-west of Winton, near Kynuna
What's special
Combo’s waterholes reputedly inspired 'Banjo' Paterson to write Waltzing Matilda, Australia’s most popular folk song. They are a refuge for wildlife during dry times. Historic stone-pitched overshots dam the Diamantina's channels.
