Welcome to the traditional homeland of the Ghungalu people. They ask that you respect Blackdown Tableland National Park by learning about their culture and taking a moment to acknowledge their spiritual ancestors during your time here.

Location

180 km west of Rockhampton and 110 km east of Emerald

What's special

Rising high above the surrounding plains the park protects deep gorges, spectacular lookouts and scenic waterfalls. Rock faces display traditional Ghungalu artwork.
