Work procedures
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Land Services branch within the Department of Environment and Resource Management develops workable policies and procedures to ensure the fairness and validity of government dealings over land and waters where native title may exist.
We also provide training to government employees on native title to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Commonwealth and state native title legislation.
Native Title Advice Request
Please use the attached form (Word, 94K)‡ when requesting advice from Policy, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Land Services.
Please save the attached form with a new file name and respond directly to the Director, Policy.
