Native title contact officers
Each government department and agency has a contact officer nominated to represent them at meetings conducted by the Policy unit of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Land Services. The role of a Native Title Contact Officer (NTCO) is to be the central contact point for native title issues for their department or agency. All enquiries about native title should be directed to the NTCO in the first instance.
