Land Manager's Monitoring Guide

The Land Manager's Monitoring Guide provides a suite of natural resource monitoring information to assist land managers in monitoring and demonstrating the results of more sustainable management actions.

The Land Manager’s Monitoring Guide may assist with monitoring the impacts of management actions for purposes such as:

The guide is a developing resource that will be added to as further development work occurs.  Progressively, monitoring material for approximately 50 property level indicators will be added to the guide.  If you would like to be kept informed of the guide's progress you can subscribe to the email group to receive updates.

Land managers can choose the monitoring indicator/s most relevant to their own situation and property management objectives by browsing through the indicator selection tool that links enterprises or production systemsland practices and management activities to potential environmental impacts and indicators.

The Landholder's Monitoring Guide replaces the Natural Resource Monitoring Guide (NR&M 1999) that is now out of print.
