RSS feeds
RSS feeds, also known as "XML feeds" or "news feeds", can help you to keep up-to-date with information from the DERM web site.
To subscribe to an RSS feed you need a feed reader (sometimes called an aggregator). Most modern web browsers have a feed reader built in. Refer to your browser’s help page for more information. If your browser does not support RSS feeds, or does not provide the functionality you want you can find information on a range of available feed readers.
Available feeds on this web site include:
Media releases
The media releases RSS feed lists media releases from the department. These are also available from the Media room or by following @QldDERM on Twitter.
Park alerts
The park alerts RSS feed contains updates on access to, and track and facility conditions in, Queenslands parks and forests. These updates are also available on the park alerts page or by following @QldParkAlerts on Twitter.
Separate feeds for each region are also available:
- Around Brisbane
- Around Townsville
- Cape York Peninsula
- Central Coast
- Central Highlands
- Mackay/Proserpine
- North Queensland
- Outback Queensland
- Sunshine Coast
- West of Brisbane
