Operational environment
DERM Forest Products conducts its business operations in accordance with Queensland Government forest policy and regional forest plans, relevant provisions of Commonwealth and State Acts and associated regulations, industry standards and codes of practices as well as forest industry and community needs.
Shared management responsibilities
As forest production in State-owned native forests encompasses a wide range of social, economic and environmental considerations, the Queensland Government has allocated forest management responsibilities to a number of departments and agencies.
