Draft State Planning Policy for Healthy Waters
The draft State Planning Policy for Healthy Waters 2009 and the draft State Planning Policy Guideline for Healthy Waters 2009 have been released for public comment and submissions are invited.
The proposed State Planning Policy (SPP) will ensure that development for urban purposes under the Integrated Planning Act 1997 (PDF)*, including community infrastructure, is planned, designed, constructed, and operated to manage stormwater and waste water in ways that protect the environmental values prescribed in the Environmental Protection (Water) Policy 2009 (PDF)*.
The Public Notice of a proposed State Planning Policy issued under the Integrated Planning Act 1997 invites submissions until 30 November 2009.

To comment on the draft State Planning Policy for Healthy Waters 2009 and the associated draft State Planning Policy Guideline for Healthy Waters 2009, please complete a Submission form. Submissions close 30 November 2009.
