EVs and WQOs have been established under Schedule 1 of the EPP Water for riverine (freshwater), estuarine and coastal waters and ground waters in the following areas:
- Moreton Bay/south-east Queensland (includes plans)
- Mary River Basin/Great Sandy Region (includes plans)
- Wet Tropics (includes plans)
- Fitzroy Basin waters (includes plans)
