About ecoBiz Network (previously QWESTNet)

What are ecoBiz Network forums?

ecoBiz Network forums (previously QWESTNet) are an ideal opportunity for Queensland businesses and industry to find out how bottom-line savings can be achieved through sustainable practices and technologies.

QWESTNet has been running since 2008 and in this time over 270 presentations and 27 forums have been presented to Queensland businesses. From February 2012 the forums have been renamed as ecoBiz Network forums. Go to the previous forums page to listen to presentations or subscribe to receive regular ecoBiz Network updates, event invitations and e-bulletins.

What can you expect from attending a forum?

Each ecoBiz Network forum runs according to a half-day format and focuses on a particular topic or industry sector such as energy efficient lighting, managing waste or green IT. A range of presentations are generally given by independent businesses and consultants, industry leaders and suppliers. There are large networking opportunities available throughout each forum.

Queensland businesses who have already implemented sustainable technologies or eco-efficient practices present case studies on the actions they have taken to bring about bottom-line and environmental benefits. Industry leaders and sustainability experts are also invited to speak on subjects relevant to business and the forum topic.

A trade display is regular feature at ecoBiz Network forums and as such suppliers of products or services that are innovative and sustainable are encouraged to apply to exhibit at upcoming forums.
