Sustainability Roadmap

The Business Sustainability Roadmap is a strategy map which provides a contextual framework for businesses serious about taking up the challenges and opportunities of sustainable development.

The Compass

The aim of The Compass is to assist Queensland industry to invest, compete and profit sustainably. That is our mission, and in itself it means change, exploration in uncharted territory, new directions, and new destinations*. In those situations it is useful to have a compass at hand. Through the pages of The Compass we will inform the Agency's industry partners and government allies about our work, current and future programs, and most importantly, the lessons emerging from our projects.

*The Compass is also a recognition of the pioneering work of one of our mentors, Alan AtKisson, author of "Believing Cassandra: an optimist looks at a pessimist's world" and creator of The Compass, a tool for communities and organisations wishing to create their own sustainability pathways - see www.AtKisson.com.
