ecoBiz Training
A range of ecoBiz training is available, from a simple overview of the program through to detailed information on the six steps and rebates for ecoBiz participants and facilitators.
Training is provided by EnviroCom Australia ®. EnviroCom specialise in the provision of environmental management, education, communications and training for Government and industry throughout Australia.
Sessions are held on demand basis. If you are interested in attending a training session, you will need to register with EnviroCom. When a session is organised that is applicable to your registered interest, they will contact you via email.

ecoBiz Overview
Running time - approx. 1.5-2 hours
Overview sessions are open to anyone interested in discovering more about the ecoBiz program. Learn how the ecoBiz Six Step process can help business improve bottom line performance through improving eco-efficiency. They provide information on ecoBiz success stories, case studies and how ecoBiz can help to improve profitability, environmental performance, water resource management and enhance your company profile.
ecoBiz Participant Training
Running time - approx. 6 hours
- Free for companies who have joined ecoBiz -
Participant training sessions are open to current ecoBiz Participants. They provide information about the ecoBiz process and toolbox, including a practical examples of baseline assessments, advice on how to complete a site survey and action plan, reassessments, how to become an ecoBiz Partner and opportunities for ecoBiz Participant rebates.
ecoBiz Facilitator Training
Running time - approx. 6-7 hours
- Free for approved ecoBiz facilitators -
ecoBiz Facilitator sessions are available to consultants who have had an application approved to become an ecoBiz Facilitator. The session provides information regarding the ecoBiz program and toolbox, baseline assessments, site surveys, action plans and reassessments, the ecoBiz partnership process, opportunities for ecoBiz rebates and the role of the Facilitator in the ecoBiz program.
Rebate Information Session
Running time - approx. 1.5-2 hours
Rebate information sessions are open to current ecoBiz Participants and Facilitators. These sessions provide detailed information on eligibility criteria for the rebate levels, requirements and pre-requisites for applying, how to apply and what will be required on submission of your application.
