ClimateSmart Living is about helping Queenslanders to reduce their carbon footprint by making small easy changes to their everyday lifestyles that can reduce their daily greenhouse gas emissions – and ensuring these changes are sustained and become part of every Queenslander’s way of life.

Such changes include reducing water and energy use, recycling more, buying local and organic produce, buying energy efficient appliances, using sustainable travel options, and sustainable building and planting.

A Low Carbon Diet Community Grants program is also available to Queensland community groups, not for profit organisations and tertiary institutions to help them motivate their networks and communities to also reduce their carbon footprint.

Visit the ClimateSmart Living site to find out more.
