The report was compiled by expert working groups established for each chapter. The members of the working groups are listed at the beginning of each chapter. The chapters have been reviewed by external expert referees, relevant Queensland Government departments and statisticians. The EPA gratefully acknowledges the efforts of all authors, working group members and reviewers, without whose expertise and time this report would not be possible.
A large volume of information, drawn from a wide range of sources, was collated, interpreted and used in this report. Sources are cited throughout the text. Published citations can be found in the reference lists at the end of each chapter. Much of the information in this report has been provided by a wide range of organisations and individuals, both government and private, and the EPA gratefully acknowledges the use of the data.
